Accountant/Project Manager - Corporate Services

This role involves close and regular interaction with all employees primarily in Jersey and Luxembourg and IT consultants and system vendors on an 11 month fixed term contract with scope to provide value add service to lead project management of new Fund Accounting system selection and migration process. Postholder will service diverse client portfolio to include a range of open-ended and closed-ended listed equity funds, private equity funds, property funds, debt funds, managed entities, pension schemes, SPVs, limited partnerships, listed entities; review RFP responses and assist in selection of finalist System Vendors; design workshop scenarios for finalist System Vendors; assist in assessment to identify preferred System Vendor; lead on implementation planning; system implementation including system interfaces, data migration and cleansing; assist Luxembourg team with implementation; draft training manuals, design and implementation of appropriate workflow processes; deliver training to team; assist with drafting and implementation of P&Ps including identifying processes which can be designed as electronic workflow processes in new system.
The role requires the individual to be well organised and able to work under own initiative being mindful of both internal and external deadlines; ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified; possess Fund Accounting system migration experience; would ideally suit a dynamic individual who has been involved in system assessment and migration projects and looking for opportunity to project lead; Real Estate/Funds service experience beneficial but not essential; proficient in Word and Excel and general MS products including PowerPoint; experience/knowledge of NavOne/Efront/Investran beneficial but not essential; excellent attention to detail; sharp analytical skills and a strong commercial awareness; proactive, solution focused and self‐sufficient; able to structure work logically and efficiently in a high pressure environment; attention to detail; proven analytical and problem‐solving abilities.
