Description
Purpose of role is to deliver a high level of administrative support to the team and to administer, under supervision, a small number of straight forward and non-contentious cases. Postholder will review data and escalate amendments to maintain data integrity; assist more senior staff with their client portfolio; assist with maintenance of statutory books and records and preparation of regulatory documentation; liaise with intermediaries; prepare payment instructions including for online banking systems, with supporting documents; understand the different requirements/process for payments for high risk clients; prepare billing control forms and work in process reports; send and settle client invoices; undertake statutory filing; schedule and observe at meetings; collate board packs and agendas; produce reports; assist with periodic reviews; draft basic minutes and resolutions (with assistance); request CDD documentation (under supervision; update team schedules/reports and update team specific spreadsheets/information.
Candidate should have sound academic background; ideally 2 years at least of industry experience; ideally studying towards/willing to study for COA/ICSA/STEP/Fund Admin Certification/ Diploma/ACA/ACCA; office experience and MS Office proficiency; basic understanding of local finance industry and regulatory requirements; basic knowledge of own business area; highly accurate with good attention to detail; good time management; team player; flexibility; motivation; strong commitment to client service excellence; proactive and disciplined approach to work; drive.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
