Administrator/Senior Administrator - Private Clients

Purpose of role to provide professional trust and company administration services to a varied portfolio of clients in Private Client, and at all times to comply with the internal Policies and Procedures and statutory/governing documents. Postholder will ensure tax status observed with timely completion of tax returns and payment of any notified tax liability; deal with incoming correspondence; prepare detailed attendance notes of any telephone communication and circulate to relevant members of staff; prepare minutes and other meeting documents; act as immediate point of contact in client relationships; oversee maintenance of accounting records and preparation of annual accounts; manage billing process, reviewing billing summaries and draft invoices; ensure database records input on formation/establishment (including statutory registers or other records) an updated; monitor aged debt position; ensure periodic reviews of clients' matters undertaken; mentor and support training of junior staff; ensure awareness and understanding of local Regulatory requirements; escalate issues/risks arising.
Candidate will be educated to A level or degree standard; minimum of two years trust and company administration experience; ideally have completed a professional/relevant qualification to Certificate Level such as ICSA/STEP; good technical knowledge with an understanding of local company and trust law and regulations; strong IT skills; flexible; good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues and clients; solution driven attitude to problems; good organisational skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately; client focus; team spirit.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
