Assistant Manager - Fund Administration/Accounting - Real Estate and Private Equity

Purpose of role is to administer various real estate and private equity funds including producing high quality materials and timely responses to client queries and overseeing client administration matters for each fund. The role will include the establishment and termination of fund structures, including due diligence collation and supporting wider team with internal controls; liaising with lawyers, regulatory authorities and external independent auditors in connection with the financial reporting process and sign-off; preparing reconciliations across subsidiaries in various jurisdictions; preparing and issuing drawdown and distribution notices; assessing and monitoring risks and provide feedback to management team to continually enhance controls; liaising with internal functions and investors in relation to investor KYC/AML related queries; preparation of materials for board meetings; bookkeeping and assisting with the financial reporting process via the preparation of quarterly investor reporting; inputting of payments.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential, with excellent attention to detail as well as accurate and timely completion of work; excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking with an emphasis on relationship building and communication at all levels; self-motivated; able to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects required; excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel; ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly; flexible, with the ability to work to time pressures and react calmly to changing demands; preferably experience in fund administration in the financial services industry, preferably with real estate or private equity exposure. Looking for Assistant Manager with accounting experience willing to turn his/her hand to Administration. Would consider Relationship Managers (newly promoted) or Senior Fund Administrators/ Accountants. Training to be provided if appropriate.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
