This role manages the back office/ops side across all jurisdictions – payroll, systems, managing HR queries, data analysis and MI, benefits, managing one HR Advisor.  Postholder will develop frameworks, establish SLAs, govern service delivery, establish, review and maintain ops processes and control procedures, maintain performance and standards, deliver MI and key business insights, set and measure employee experience, and provide central co-ordination; create and drive strategy, trend analysis and pertinent data to optimise service delivery and process improvement; ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines across all jurisdictions; make improvements and leverage technology; develop and report on HR and people related metrics; manage annual benefits renewals, budget preparation and monitoring, pay reviews and promotion process; own and develop expertise on core people systems to train on them; oversee accurate payroll record keeping; responsible for effective performance management and development; coordinate HR projects and initiatives and report on progress; prepare paperwork such as maternity letters, study leave contracts, references, leaver processes.

Desirably the successful candidate will have Bachelors/Masters Degree in HR/Business/Organisational Psychology/related area; proven HR experience is essential.  He/she will be well organised; accurate with attention to detail and sound knowledge of local employment legislation; analytical with proven experience of dealing with complex data; able to work independently, with multiple priorities and within a team to achieve results; able to maintain confidentiality – diplomacy and discretion; Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills; similar type of experience and will not need to be in a front facing, people and culture type position.  He/she will have extensive contact with everyone across all jurisdictions from support to Partner and Director level so strong relationship and interpersonal skills are essential; 

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
