Exciting role opportunity supporting effective management of Regulatory Compliance and leading internal compliance teams, acting as CO (Key Person). Duties involve attending board meetings to present reports on Risk and Compliance matters; ensuring risk-based monitoring being undertaken; remediation of compliance action falling out of monitoring of a non-AML nature; acting as primary business risk contact for Compliance; delivering and communicating training and policy writing in a simple way; playing key role in regulatory relations and managing upstream risk process to ensure regulatory changes highlighted and implemented; supporting roll out of robust risk management framework, supporting effective risk governance and communicating risk policies and processes; identifying potential enhancement of systems and controls in line with strategy; identifying and recommending changes to legal and regulatory environment and advancing technology to ensure compliance with these.
Requirements are at least 7 years compliance experience with ability to hold Key Person role; Compliance qualifications; Table 4 qualification; comprehensive knowledge of Jersey Legislation and Regulations; detailed understanding of Jersey finance industry and compliance Risk Management; proficient user of MS Office; skilled in influencing, stakeholder management, communication and training; able to interpret regulatory requirements and translate to commercial application, assimilate complex information and support definition of strategy and develop policy; team player; versatile; motivated; strong commitment to Compliance service excellence; proactive; results driven.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
