Description

Our client seeks the ideal candidate to fulfill this exciting and demanding operational role.  He/she will monitor regulatory and financial accounting month end process including completion of annual RCSA assessment; carry out team output reviews and work to eliminate any gaps identified; organise workshops to ensure any changes communicated including changes to IFRS standards, and issues escalated to CFO; oversee tax reporting process including monthly tax calculation, annual tax returns and ISE registration, ETI reconciliations, ensuring tax liabilities are reflected in company accounts, gathering tax information for tax agents, updating quarterly global tax centre concerning tax risks and controls, ensuring transfer pricing documentation and SLA between entities maintained; standardise, streamline and update financial processes; take on strategic projects such as key initiatives/closing operational gaps; oversee client assistance process ensuring information gathered, analysed and documented in auditor's portal; act as business contact; oversee internal/external audit recommendations including implementing remediation plans; coordinate national JFSC risk assessment and GFSC financial flow data reporting.

Candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with Big 4 audit experience; able to multi-task in fast moving environment; able to prioritise and meet key deliverables; must have knowledge of business processes, standards and procedures; able to build and maintain sustainable client relationships; flexible/adaptable in meeting routine and non-routine demands; innovative; team spirit; knowledge of legal regulatory and industry requirements; analytical thinker; change management mindset; strong numeracy, counselling, decision making, communication influencing, planning and organise, management, team building and project management skills; strategic and commercial awareness; experience in budgetary control and management/supervisory roles.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
