This role provides high quality customer service and develops effective business relationships internally and externally; maintains effective communication with colleagues and customers to maximise business performance and communicate appropriately; provides high quality advice in line with business strategy, claims handling policies, procedures and customer service guidelines; help achieve business objectives; provide training and coaching; be innovative with ideas for efficiency improvements.
A Certificate in Insurance (or equivalent) as a minimum examination qualification is required, along with Mathematics and English language GCSE grades A to C (or equivalent) as a minimum examination qualification; general knowledge and understanding of insurance claims theory and practice; awareness of the current general insurance market in relation to claims; understanding of claims negotiation; appreciation of the importance of providing a high quality service for both internal and external customers.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
