Postholder will administer a varied portfolio of Fund structures and co-ordinate all co sec matters, including convening and attending Board meetings, production of Board packs and minutes for a portfolio of London Stock Exchange Premium Listed and The International Stock Exchange investment companies. He/she will co-ordinate circular drafting and publication, market news announcements, FCA and LSE forms and applicable submissions; manage corporate calendars, dividend declarations and compliance with dividend procedure timetable of London Stock Exchange, issues of equity, and director shareholder transactions; assist in corporate services development including new business opportunities and ongoing process review; maintain registers for corporate services entities and records detailing contractual relationships; ensure compliance monitoring adhered to and statutory, regulatory and stock exchange filings made; ensure compliance with listing rules and governance codes; act as super user for co sec systems including new user set up and staff queries; develop and maintain co sec proformas and templates; business development for listed fund business including forging relationships with local and UK intermediaries; assist in projects and staff training and development; take charge of direct report appraisals; act as "B" authorised signatory.
Candidate will have have ideally 4 – 6 years fund administration experience supported by a relevant professional qualification (ICSA Diploma level or equivalent); sound technical financial services knowledge; computer literacy, word processing and spread sheet skills are essential; people management experience; evidence of full responsibility for a client relationship or a significant part of a major client relationship; quick to learn new systems; great with people; training will be provided.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
