Exciting role managing and maintaining compliance documentation such as compliance registers, policies, processes, procedures and records and maintaining Compliance Intranet library; preparing reports used for management information, governance forums, compliance monitoring (scoping and testing) and annual test results and declarations; sourcing and compiling statistics for regulatory and internal reporting purposes; updating and maintaining compliance training material; delivering training; under guidance from senior AML team members, undertaking periodic testing of WIN’s Obliged Persons, including drafting review findings and recommendations; assisting on compliance issues; assisting in monitoring progress of proposed legislation and providing input in relation to drafting/updating of policies.
Candidate will ideally have Legal Degree; Degree in Finance and Accounting or Banking would also be acceptable; preferably ICA/CISI qualification/similar; 1-2 years compliance operations experience in financial services, with ideally at least one year in a Compliance role; individual with more general financial services experience who demonstrates good business acumen would also be considered; 1-2 years knowledge of regulatory developments impacting financial services, understanding of banking products and activities, and associated regulatory frameworks, including client asset and transaction reporting obligations would be beneficial.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
