Credit Operations Lead

Exciting role undertaking Implementation/Amendment of Credit Facilities and setting up Client and credit facility types. Duties involve producing Facility Letters for approved facilities and ensuring their version control; instructing/liaising with Panel Valuers and Panel Law Firms, reviewing valuations and completing value checklist; ensuring terms and conditions met for documentation; comparing Approval details to loan agreement; arranging for drawdowns and completion of drawdown checklists; arranging sub-participations of credit facilities to/from other entities; managing application process and service delivery of 3rd party credit cards; management of Existing Credit Facilities and early repayments, additional fees, release of security and loan account closures; inputting and monitoring capital repayments, interest payments and breaches; management of Direct Debit Origination/PTX system; maintenance and actioning of credit diary system ensuring action points carried out; ensuring safe keeping arrangements for credit and security documentation; Daily Forward FX monitoring; monitoring 3rd party custody of assets and reporting breaches.
Candidate must have good understanding of credit differentials/legal requirements between Guernsey & Jersey; full understanding of company facility requirements; ideally prior management experience; experience in training and working strictly to processes; strong experience of issuance of credit facilities and/or general credit competency; drive and determination to work in a fast-paced business unit with clear weekly/monthly targets; capable of delivering an exceptional client service; diligent and high level of attention to detail even when working under pressure; capable of identifying underwriting red flags and anomalies; excellent IT, organisational, time management and communication skills; self-starter and team player.
Role can be based in Jersey or Guernsey.
