Postholder will provide excellent service, managing investment portfolios and contributing to investment process, operating with fiduciary responsibility and a desire to build lasting Discretionary relationships as an active participant in the Private Bank Global Investment Committee and contributing to wider investment forums.  This role is deemed as a regulated role and will need to hold/be able to acquire relevant JFSC certifications.  Duties involve presenting to new clients to win new mandates, or existing clients to carry out review/ defence meetings; presenting thought leadership on investing and current portfolio positioning; ensuring client viewpoint is central to all key decisions; articulating investment ideas succinctly and accurately; able to be persuasive in championing views and challenging others; coaching and encouraging team.

Candidate must be able to manage a book of portfolios; comfortable in a client facing role, with an ability to present and explain portfolio performance, attribution, asset allocation and activity to clients and bankers; keen interest in investment markets across asset classes and an ability to contribute at the Private Bank Global Investment Committee; understand regulatory and legal environment; hold mandatory regulatory qualifications/minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks; Degree (or professional equivalent); existing experience with significant book of client relationships; excellent understanding of building Client investment strategies.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
