Description
Purpose of role to administer Private Equity and other funds and related co sec; undertake tasks associated with calls and distributions and reporting; payment preparation/formatting/review in respect of distributions / funds flows) using eQ and Neolink; maintain limited partnership/shareholder registers using Viewpoint and other statutory records and investors data such as contact, bank account details and addresses; manage board meeting scheduling, agenda preparation and document distribution; attend and take minutes of GP/Manager board meetings including presenting investment or divestment recommendations and fielding Director questions; document preparation and management; winding up processes of fund entities and/or structures; preparation of annual statutory filings and tax returns; helping implement policies; ensuring compliance; assisting Corporate Governance team with work allocations and improvement projects; assisting in‐house counsel with oversight of local legal entities and compliance with tax laws.
Previous experience of Private Equity fund administration, 4 years minimum required; familiarity with limited partnership structures, investments, funds, treasury functions and associated terminology; hold/part way through study to obtain ICSA/STEP; relevant academic records including GCSE (with English and Maths at Grades A* – B) and A Levels or degree; IT literate and experience of MS Outlook, Word, Excel; Company Secretarial background; knowledge of Investran / eQ / Viewpoint advantageous; accurate and organised; good communicator at all levels; motivated; good team player with a positive attitude; ability to prioritise and work under pressure; ability to follow instructions and procedures; ability to manage time; flexibility; results and client focused; able to work independently; able to meet deadlines.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
