Fund Officer - Corporate and Private Clients

Great role opportunity as member of a team within Fund Services group that specialises in the provision of services to regulated listed fund clients. The role requires proactive, hands on client interaction including regular client meetings, all conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, agreed client service-levels and company standards. Candidate will be encouraged to build relationships with intermediaries, third parties and identified key client contacts so as to be seen as the first point of contact for entities within responsibility; actively take responsibility for the training and development of more junior team members to build and develop their knowledge and enhance their career and promotion prospects; suggest procedural improvements.
Candidate will hold/be studying towards ICSA/ACCA/equivalent; experience of working within a trust and company business with a good understanding of fund administration and/or company admin; self-motivated; team player; attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to draft high quality minutes of meetings; accounting and bookkeeping skills.; proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly and technical language; excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; strong organisational and administrative skills; ability to prioritise workloads, work within allocated deadlines and use own initiative; knowledge of the London Stock Exchange Listing Rules, the UK Corporate Governance Code and/or the Association of Investment Companies Code of Corporate Governance advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
