Group Financial Manager

Postholder will prepare and review financial and statistical reports, forecasts and budgets; manage day to day financial operations including accounts payable, cash management and capital spend; monitor financial performance versus budget/forecasts and assist non-financial managers with monitoring budgets; assist with planning, coordinating and preparing annual combined budget and quarterly forecasts and improve process by ensuring accurate compilation of financial data; standardise budget/forecast to actual expense analysis; develop financial information systems and server reports; conduct regular reviews to ensure system functioning correctly and providing appropriate information; assist with design and implementation of system changes required; co-ordinate annual Group audit; assist with preparation of technical accounting memos with reference to accounting guidelines; monitor operations and work flow processes such as billing, collection and A/P and implement Group finance policies; assist with presentations, financial analyses and reporting projects.
Candidate must be ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA/equivalent qualified with at least 2 years PQE and have excellent presentation and communication skills; strong relationship building and analytical abilities; team focused with the ability to work efficiently and independently; excellent MS Excel skills and proficiency with other MS Office Applications; knowledge of Aderant Expert and Worksite document management would be an asset; strong knowledge of IFRS; experience working in a Law Firm would be advantageous; ability to establish priorities and organise work assignments; committed professional, determined to continuously improve the services and to ensure consistency and standardised finance related reporting and processes..
