Description

This role is essential to provide close team and client management support to ensure an excellent quality of service; take part in and manage development activities and help improve operations and service delivery; ensure risk management processes are used; support strong risk and compliance culture, acting as MLRO/MLCO/CO for client entities; contact point for JFSC; devise and deliver risk based monitoring programmes; remedy deficiencies in compliance; devise and deliver reporting to client boards and regulators; maintain requests record for information from law enforcement authorities for ISARs and SARs; receive and consider internal suspicious activity reports; support and monitor Deputy MLRO; build effective client and stakeholder relationships; identify and develop talent in Risk & Compliance; ensure team achieve business goals; ensure changes implemented smoothly; identify concerns or risks; keep updated with regulatory developments.

Financial and commercial acumen are essential, as are strong management, analytical, interpersonal, influencing and organisational skills;‘must be Hands-on’ and pragmatic and culturally aware; able to work under pressure; self-awareness; innovation and creativity; approachable and strong team player; commercially; extensive experience of offshore financial services, specifically compliance and risk, and product and service technologies and regulatory environments; hold Membership of relevant Financial Institute; Corporate Governance experience and experience of risk mitigation; committed to high standard of customer service; experience of working closely with Regulators; able to make rational judgments.
