Junior Fund Accountant

Purpose of role is to prepare accounts and maintain ledgers for trusts and companies under administration in-house. Duties involve keeping banking records up to date; preparing accounts to deadlines; producing accurate bookkeeping records; ensuring information about a client’s financial affairs are accurate; ensuring accounts are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; checking for financial irregularities; maintaining up to date accounts for client companies and trusts; ensuring financial records safely stored and access to old records readily available.
Candidate will have ability to advise based on full understanding of field; have planning, communication and organisational skills; ability to identify gaps in information and conduct analysis to solve problems; able to make recommendations on managing more complex situations; able to handle changing priorities and differing situations.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
