Postholder will manage portfolio of Trusts and Companies, offering expert advice, including any regulatory requirements and technical support to administrators, ensuring policies and procedures implemented for clients. He/she will be aware of interest rate movements and changes in legislation; ensure statutory returns prepared and submitted and client records maintained and updated; undertake reviews of financial statements; manage team and client relationships; communicate with clients; ensure team achieve internal service standards; conduct meetings and produce minutes and resolutions; complete client take-on process and client reviews; conduct client and intermediary visits; assist with supervising team, including mentoring, counselling, compliance, recruitment, discipline, resourcing, training and development; assist co-ordination of accounts preparation and liaise with external auditors; be innovative on efficiency improvements; review and manage team workload; assist in budgeting, monitoring against performance, review of staff time charging, preparation of quotations for potential and existing clients and billing; contribute to growth strategy and participate in team and management strategy sessions.
Candidate will be at least ICSA/STEP/ACCA qualified; comprehensive experience within trust administration; management experience, preferably managing a large team; experience holding board positions as well as an authorised signatory; knowledge of local legislation/Corporate Governance; broad understanding of the wide range of fiduciary products globally; broad understanding the specific offerings within Corporate Services; strong people management skills and the ability to inspire and develop junior staff members; ability to manage a team; effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to formulate, consider and select the most appropriate solutions; ability to work effectively in a team.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
