Manager/Assistant Manager Compliance 12 month FTC

Great role participating in Compliance and business projects, marketing and digital initiatives, and supporting provision of proactive compliant solutions from British Isles Compliance and Regulatory Risk standpoint; support management and mitigation of reputational and regulatory risk resulting from non-compliance with regulatory standards; support Compliance Officer for CI banking businesses and Jersey Investment business, prepare draft board reports and other management reports for review; draft and present Compliance Management Information for reports; preparation of compliance training materials and maintenance of the compliance training schedule; maintain compliance internal records tracking compliance training; support product or delivery initiatives or addressing specific issues identified through complaints, compliance monitoring, internal audit and external regulatory reviews; ensure no slippage in open management action plans as a result of Monitoring and Testing reviews.
Candidate must have professional designations for lines of business covered and/or as a Compliance Professional; excellent knowledge and relevant work experience within the Cl regulatory environment; understanding and awareness of Jersey Code of Practice for Deposit Taking Business and Investment businesses; strong written and verbal communication skills; proven research skill along with analytical approach to work. Advantages would be understanding of current CI regulatory developments impacting the wealth management industry and products and services provided by private wealth management businesses, particularly banking and investments.
Consideration would be given to applications at Assistant Manager PL09 level.
