Regulatory Reporting Manager

Exciting and demanding post producing and submitting JFSC, GFSC and PRA regulatory returns; monitoring business daily regarding regulatory limits including capital adequacy, large exposures, liquidity and large depositors; ensuring regulatory breaches communicated internally to management, compliance and regulators; monitor regulatory compliance with GFSC and JFSC guidelines and odes of practice, liaison with regulators, and production of related MI; advise management on impact of compliance with JFSC and GFSC regulations on existing/proposed business; ensuring accurate data recording and coding; monitoring regulatory developments to ensure any issues are identified and that regulatory procedures are aligned with all requisite changes; contributing to internal regulatory projects including annual refresh of liquidity behavioural adjustment data, ICAAP, periodic regulatory stress testing, new product developments and automation of CI regulatory returns; attend internal committee meetings; liaise with auditors; submit concession limit application forms; work with IT and software suppliers to keep regulatory software an processes up to date in line with business developments.
Candidate will be qualified accountant with Big 4 audit experience; legal and regulatory comprehension and interpretation skills; 2 years recent regulatory experience, including regulatory audit experience; financial and statutory accounting experience; advanced Excel skills including large data sets and manipulating data using large formulae; advanced Olympic/equivalent banking systems experience including static data and banking systems data architecture and the relationship to regulatory returns; budgeting and cost control abilities; team building, management, change management, communication, change management, numeracy, decision making, influencing, project management, planning and organising skills; strategy and commercial awareness; analytical thinker.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
