Security Operations - Business Analyst

Postholder will support wide range of change initiatives, including wider business change programmes and help deliver BAU efficiencies/enhancements. Projects related to process improvements for tax, fees, settlements, corporate actions, securities stock data, transitions, migration, governance, system/process enhancement and re-platforming will be key. Duties involve planning project activity, controls, resourcing, quality monitoring and UAT; leading others to deliver on projects; driving things forward while keeping deliverables on track and within budget; other operational work; technical expertise extracting, manipulating and analysing data such as Excel or SQL tools; delivering accurate reports on time.
Candidate needs project experience; presentation and leadership skills; specialised knowledge of securities market activities, equities and fixed income; advanced knowledge of MS Excel with ability to manipulate data a distinct advantage; able to work independently; highly motivated; technical project management experience including UAT, process mapping, data and asset migrations; experience in global financial services; broad knowledge of securities markets, regulation and reporting requirements; working knowledge of corporate actions, settlements, transitions and tax; broad understanding of asset data providers; understanding of fund dealing and settlement and trading fees; knowledge of tax and fees.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
