Description

Our client seeks the ideal candidate to prepare financial statements and files of working papers for a wide range of client structures and differing complexity to IFRS or UK GAAP standards.  He/she will prepare quarterly management accounts; liaise with auditors in respect of financial audit and sign off within client, statutory or regulatory deadlines; attend client meetings in respect of accounting matters; prepare accounts for review by senior accounting team; review administrators transactions on Investran and assist with loading of new clients onto Investran; liaise with clients and external contacts; assist with the creation and maintenance of client specific accounting procedures; assist with and contribute to projects including administration assistance with clients.

Candidate will hold ACCA or ACA with at least one year PQE; experience of fund industry and general appreciation of fund structures and key documents; experience in producing financial statements to UK GAAP or IFRS; good knowledge of current industry legislation and regulation; detailed knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS; working knowledge of MS Office; desirably working knowledge of Caseware/Value Financials, Investran and Private Equity as an asset class; able to work to conflicting and demanding deadlines; team player; flexibility; motivated; strong commitment to client service excellence; proactive.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
