Description

Postholder will administer varied client portfolio, review data and escalate amendments, liaise with clients and maintain statutory books and regulatory documents including NRL returns and HMRC filings.  He/she will supervise, delegate to, coach and appraise staff; delegate/review payment instructions; understand different requirements/ process for payments for high risk clients; analyse work in progress; prepare client billing; send and settle client invoices; monitor and manage aged debtors; assist with review of accounts/financial statements; schedule, attend and minute meetings; produce board packs, reports, agendas, and resolutions; follow up matters arising from meetings; manage, understand and document client transactions to timelines; conduct periodic client reviews; support team with systems and team specific procedures as well as back up; prepare client adoption documents; liaise with clients to ensure understanding of structure/transaction; collate CDD documentation.

Requirements are Table 5 Qualification; sound academic background; desirably studying for ICSA/Fund Admin Diploma/equivalent; 4 years relevant industry administration experience with at least 3 years’ experience in running own portfolio, preferably with exposure to corporate clients; desirably experience of developing and coaching others on a one to one basis; working knowledge of MS Office; good knowledge of current local finance industry legislation and regulatory requirements; understanding of basic client financial statements; strong communicator; able to manage deadlines and organise workload; ability to delegate and coach; team player; flexibility; motivated; proactive; strong commitment to client service excellence.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
