Great role opportunity administering varied client portfolio in accordance with procedures and liaising with clients. Postholder will review data and escalate amendments as required to maintain data integrity; oversee maintenance of statutory books for own portfolio; oversee client appropriate regulatory documentation; supervise and delegate to junior members of staff; coach junior staff in relation to time management, client activities and prioritising skills; delegate and review payment instructions for own clients; understand the different requirements/process for payments for high risk clients; conduct reviews on own clients; analyse WIP for own clients; prepare Billing Control Forms; send and settle invoices; monitor and manage aged debts; schedule, arrange and attend meetings; prepare agendas and board papers; draft minutes and resolutions; organise draw down, distribution and investment checklists, Power of Attorney and client set up; assist with the review of accounts/financial statements; request CDD documentation; support team with systems and team specific procedures as well as back up.
Requirements are Table 5 Qualification, sound academic background, and desirably studying for ICSA/STEP/Fund Admin Diploma; 4 years relevant industry administration experience with at least 3 years’ experience in running own portfolio, preferably with exposure to corporate clients; desirably experience of developing and coaching others on a one to one basis; working knowledge of MS Office, current local finance industry legislation, regulatory requirements & working practices and understanding of basic client financial statements; able to manage conflicting and demanding deadlines; team player; flexible; motivated; proactive; strong commitment to client service excellence.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
