Our client seeks the ideal candidate to provide professional fund administration services to a varied portfolio of clients including complex/high risk cases, and to comply with Policies and Procedures. He/she will ensure tax status of entities is observed with the timely completion of tax returns and the payment of any notified tax liability; prepare minutes and other meeting documents; act as client contact; oversee maintenance of accounting records and preparation of annual accounts; manage billing process, reviewing billing proformas/draft invoices; ensure database records input on formation/establishment (including any statutory registers or other records) and updated; monitor aged debt position; undertake periodic reviews of clients' matters; mentor and support training of more junior members of staff; escalate issues/risks arising; maintain awareness and understanding of local Regulatory requirements; being aware of risk exposure and ensuring Risk/Review procedures followed.
Candidate will be educated to A level or degree standard; ideally hold ICSA/STEP Diploma; ideally have at least 5 years' experience in funds/trust and company administration or financial services environment; technical knowledge of funds/trust administration, Jersey Company Law and the tax implications of various structures; strong IT, organisational and interpersonal skills; flexibility; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; solution driven attitude to problems; ability to work using own initiative and make decisions within corporate policies; accuracy; team spirit; client focused.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
