Senior Client Officer - Private Clients and Family Office

Great role opportunity providing trust and company admin services, including proactive client contact, administering allocated portfolio of complex clients; assisting in managing team; acting as focal point for admin and technical queries; assisting in training and development of team; support Manager with delegation of work; encourage ‘can do’ positive approach, giving constructive feedback and encouraging team communication; maintain accurate reports of time spent on time billing modules; meet centrally defined, chargeable time requirements; develop strong client relationships; ensure compliance with internal policies; maintain clear understanding of risk; demonstrate excellent understanding of legal and regulatory requirements; maintain/update statutory registers and foundation records; prepare and review compliance files for JFSC and systems for set up/closure; prepare annual and regulatory returns; complete and manage clearance of client and investment reviews; good understanding of tax issues; maintain clear understanding of requirements and expectations; generate and check banking instructions; act as delegate signatory on client bank accounts.
Candidate must hold/be actively working towards a professional qualification recognised by the JFSC; have good understanding of trust and company administration; good understanding of applicable laws and legal & regulatory concepts; ability to analyse set of financial accounts and identify areas for further discussion; previous experience of working within trust and company business is essential; ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly and technical language; self-motivated; proven analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast paced environment; exceptional communication, delegation, organisation, time management, admin and customer service skills; experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment; ability to prioritise workloads and use own initiative; ability to work within allocated deadlines; team player; good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook with ability to learn other relevant systems; attention to detail and accuracy.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
