Senior Examiner, Supervision Examination Unit

Role supports Senior Manager of Unit supporting and conducting examinations, including examination planning, interviewing members of staff employed by the licence holder, conducting file reviews, reviewing documentation, leading opening and closing meetings, executing reporting and closing processes; adopting risk-based approach; keeping stakeholders informed; sharing good practice; producing draft and final reports; contributing to ongoing Examiner and methodology development; identify industry trends; contibute to projects and change implementation.
Strong and proven background in financial services required; experience as Key Person/senior risk/internal audit/compliance highly advantageous; able to meet challenging deadlines and prioritise; strong analytical, planning, organisation, problem solving, interpersonal, presentation, questioning and investigative skills; ‘can do’ attitude; able to understand and manage risks and practical application of systems and controls to prevent and detect financial crime; hold/work towards professional qualification; focus; initiative; respond to change
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
