Senior Finance Administrator

Exciting role assisting with the administration and operation of deferred compensation arrangements on an annual basis for all entities. Duties involve preparing all instructions to Fund Administrators for the investment or redemption of deferral amounts and any switches throughout the deferral period; recording / bookkeeping of all deferral transactions and maintenance & reconciliation of the excel deferral database on a monthly basis; first point of contact for staff and Fund Administrators in relation to deferral trades and balances; assisting Finance Team with the monthly reconciliation of deferral balances, and calculation of vesting deferral amounts and preparation of deferral statements for staff from deferral database; administration of Jersey partnership structures for owners, traders and senior management LPs; managing administration of the senior management share plans; preparation of reports for auditors, tax and finance; liaison with professional advisors in relation to offshore compensation arrangements; monitoring and oversight of third party fees; constant evolution and enhancement of operational processes.
Requirements are good academic record and at least 3 years’ experience within trust/fiduciary services business providing financial administration, company and/or partnership administration services; strong numerical skills; ability to deal with intermediaries at all levels; significant experience with MS Excel; highly organised and works well under pressure; ability to self-manage; strong work ethic, good team player; good interpersonal and communications skills.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
