Senior Manager - Banking

Purpose of role is to lead and manage banking, relationship managed supervision team; manage, develop and coach staff; set objectives aligned with strategic and business plan objectives; identify and respond to risk factors and issues; manage team workloads effectively in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs; use data from supervision of enhanced and pro-active entities to demonstrate how objectives being achieved; use risk model to identify escalating levels of risk with follow up action; create strong working internal and external relationships; ensure adherence to processes and regulations; identify, recommend and implement improvements to internal working practices; maintain data integrity; drive change and lead wider strategic initiatives and projects.
Requirements are in-depth knowledge of relevant financial services and products; relevant diploma level qualification is desirable; significant technical knowledge of the Banking sector is highly desirable; well-developed understanding of the Jersey and International Regulatory standards; proven track record of delivering results through team-working, coaching, mentoring and leadership; self-motivated with a personal commitment to delivering success; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
