SENIOR TRUST ADMINISTRATOR – PRIVATE CLIENT ADMINISTRATION

Postholder will ensure adherence to requirements of relevant trust/company law, maintaining accurate records on software or paper based; assist with training and development of team members; be aware of regulatory and business developments; contribute to business and administration team objectives through active involvement in projects, supporting continuous improvement philosophy through ideas and positive attitude to change; attend regular meetings with Trust Manager as necessary to discuss administration matters relating to own portfolio; ensure discharge of fiduciary obligations in conjunction with compliance; ensure discharge of duties as a ‘C’ signing authority; report to Manager on a regular basis in agreed formats on all appropriate administration issues; identify risk.
Requirements are a Table 4 qualification; good team player; accuracy; initiative; client focused; risk management proficiency; reporting and organisational skills; commercial and fiduciary risk awareness; good knowledge of trust and company law and fiduciary principles, legislation and regulatory requirements, “Proceeds of Crime Law”, Trust deeds and associated legal documents, global tax practice including UK and US tax legislation, FATCA and CRS, corporate secretarial and director duties.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
