Senior Trust Administrator

Our client seeks the ideal candidate to provide a quality administration service to a diverse portfolio of offshore trusts and companies on behalf of private clients in order to maximise profits and targets, maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency, maximise group referrals, and promote and enhance reputation. He/she will enhance client relationships; carry out a variety of banking, investment and financial transactions within agreed timescales and in accordance with trust deeds and administration agreements and policies and procedures; act as B signatory; maintain internal control standards including implementing internal and external audit points and issues raised by external regulators; demonstrate compliance with internal controls and policies; take account of operational risk.
Candidate must have a broad knowledge of taxation, investments, accounting, and banking; able to prioritise, work well under time pressure and to deadlines; accurate with figures; good interpersonal, communication, organisational, problem solving and time management skills; awareness of Operational Risk; ideally hold/studying towards STEP Diploma/equivalent; knowledge of current laws and developments in own industry sector; some tax knowledge advantageous; at least 5 years’ experience in trust and company admin; team player; conscientious and self-motivated; lateral thinker; attention to accuracy and detail; some client meeting experience; proficient with basic departmental systems.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
