Postholder will be responsible for complex portfolio of client trust & company structures to ensure that a high level of service is given to clients in accordance with relevant mandates so that operational and fiduciary risk exposures are effectively managed and ensure that Trust Department meets Financial Objectives in line with Financial Plans. He/she will ensure company meets its Regulatory, Risk and procedure requirements; develop relationships with clients; ensure procedures and standards met with focus on effective time recording, billing and collection along with efficient process completion of Accounts, Annual and Investment Reviews; ensure compliance with Companies (Jersey) Law 1991 Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, Limited Partnership (Jersey)Law 1994, The Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999, Collective Investment Funds (Jersey) law 1988 and ensure CPD requirements met.
Postholder must be experienced and qualified professional with minimum of 5 years' management practice of Trust and Fiduciary services including understanding of business development, operational and financial activities; commercial sense so as to identify and anticipate business opportunities, weaknesses and strengths to be able to develop appropriate initiatives; good presentation and communication skill; awareness of industry best practice and developments in other jurisdictions so range of services offered to client continually reviewed; professional qualification enabling holding of Table 5 qualification (and working towards Table 4).
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
