Telesales Account Executive

Our client seeks the ideal person to maintain, develop and maximise the customer base, working to achieve the required performance and productivity standards and oversee a portfolio of local caterer accounts; to input customers’ regular orders onto the computer system, whilst prompting the customer on products they may have forgotten and offering special deals available - ensuring excellent customer service at all times. He/she will use Telesales Sales Skill Development selling techniques on all calls; up-sell to customers to increase order value and introduce new promotions and pillar groups; achieve individual promotional and new product targets set by telesales manager through planning and presenting to accounts; accomplish criteria on accounts trading and minimise losses through close management and liaising with Field Sales Team; deal with customer queries and problems; ensure good management practice and processes to ensure health and safety of colleagues and customers; put into place plans to turn around down-trading accounts; set high quality standards.
Candidate will demonstrate strong communication, numeracy, literacy and problem solving skills and a basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook would be preferable; good telephone manner, and take calls in a professional, courteous and timely way; excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in logical manner to deliver results; customer driven with sales approach; sales focused and can deliver against targets; accuracy and able to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads; able to work calmly under pressure; strong team player; able to develop and lead others.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
