Exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Trainee to gain exposure to aspects of business operations under supervision. This role involves assisting in set up of RE structures and liaising with lawyers and tax specialists; organising, preparing agendas, and minuting AGMs and board meetings; maintaining statutory books and registers; entering into meeting discussions; collating information and writing reports; communicating decisions to stakeholders; advising of legal, governance, accounting and tax implications of proposed policies; cash management - reconciling and monitoring bank accounts; preparing payments and updating payment register;s assisting with investor calls and distributions; maintaining e-files on J drive and AD Connect; developing and overseeing systems which ensure compliance with all applicable codes, legal and statutory requirements; follow up client correspondence and ensure strong working relationships.
Requirements are good academics and pursuing Degree; willing to study to gain ICSA/ACCA; knowledge of French and/or German an asset; team spirit; good communication skills.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
