Great role opportunity to take direct administrative responsibility for a portfolio of trusts, companies and other wealth structures ensuring that first class service is provided to beneficiaries/clients and intermediaries and support to the Trust Directors. The role holder will identify and mitigate risk across their span of control and will be responsible for supporting junior team mates; bookkeep bank, property and investment transactions; interact directly with their clients and support Trust Directors in identifying client needs and delivering upon opportunities to drive up levels of client service, ensuring delivery on client commitments to agreed deadlines and to a high standard; achieve personal targets for time recording, utilisation and working capital management; understand and act on profitability of client book by reviewing and controlling WIP, ensuring prompt collection of fees and highlighting revenue opportunities; with coaching and guidance develop understanding and familiarity with working capital cycle; ensure agreed business risk targets are met and use technical capability to understand and manage risk within their client book with the support of their line management and Trust, escalating where necessary and required in accordance with policies; assist with preparation of accurate financial statements.
The successful applicant will have proven experience within the fiduciary field and will demonstrate good client service delivering against the needs and demands of high net worth clients; demonstrate an understanding of the technical principles of day to day fiduciary administration; have bookkeeping capabilities; have an awareness of current issues affecting fiduciary structures and clients; be client and service oriented; flexible; able to work to time driven pressures with good prioritisation and time management skills; self-motivated and focused on exceeding targets and goals; understanding of other languages is desirable; hold or be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or ICSA), and to be educated to A-Level standards, or equivalent; expected to maintain CPD hours in line with qualification.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
