Description

Exciting role opportunity undertaking fee earning work, providing guidance and assistance to clients in drafting wills, applying for probate and lasting powers of attorney.  Postholder will arrange appointments and update fee-earners diary; deal with probate enquiries; attend meetings and complete file notes, minutes and file opening; initial client compliance checks and prepare client care letters; keep clients up to date on matters and fees; deal with estates of Jersey domiciled deceased clients and overseas clients with assets in Jersey; gather and update details of assets and liabilities in an estate and collect/discharge; achieve financial targets; gather and maintain accurate records of funds received and paid away in the estate to lead to estate accounts being prepared; review estate accounts and circulate; liaise with banks and brokers; complete payment and estate distribution checklists; keep abreast of changing regulatory environment and new legislation; carry out due diligence on new clients and observe CDD; achieve financial targets.

Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
