The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust operational risk management frameworks and strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This role involves extensive collaboration with stakeholders across multiple business units to assess and mitigate risks, conduct risk assessments, and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders; delivering training and projects, ensuring policies up to date, and dealing with complaints.
Requirements are at least 8 years risk management experience in financial services/similar; in-depth knowledge of risk management and Basel standards; strong communicator and negotiator; good team player; able to work to tight deadlines; sound understanding of internal control frameworks; ability to multi-task; experience of GFSC regulations, GRC platforms and banking a plus.
