Exciting opportunity assisting with trust and company administration services, primarily within the Real Estate business line. Postholder will prepare annual financial statements, management accounts and other financial reporting; post through Navision and Excel final bookkeeping entries required to produce financial reporting and perform year end ledger close-down procedures; assist with the bookkeeping of more complex client structures; liaise with the appointed Auditors to complete the audit of financial statements; provide additional bookkeeping and administrative assistance to other members of the Client Accounting Solutions team; support on-going development of the team by involvement in the coaching, training and motivation of team members.
The post holder will hold ACCA/ACA/equivalent and/or relevant experience; Finance Industry and or Accounting/Auditing experience within/with exposure to Private Client/Real Estate essential; significant experience of preparing client accounts; comprehensive knowledge of current IFRS and UK GAAP reporting and experience in accounting for a range of funds structures; experience with Navision and ValueFinancials desirable; strong IT skills; strong technical skill; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels; able to work using own initiative, control own work load and prioritise; flexibility; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; solution driven attitude to problems; good organisational skills; ability to work methodically and accurately; team spirit; client focus.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
