Description
This is a key role, responsible for originating and converting high-value new business opportunities within the private capital ecosystem across Central & Southern Europe through an established network and developing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand client base, identify, target and engage with decision makers, and manage and convert a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal progression. Postholder will represent at industry events, conferences and networking functions, stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes, advising clients on fund structuring options, engage in thought leadership initiatives, and build and manage key intermediary relationships, drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities, own commercial negotiations and ensure sales activity recorded in CRM. Frequent travel required.
This role requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and established network in closed capital investment ecosystem and of fund managers, family offices, Lawyers and introducers to drive business growth, proven experience in business development and sales in fund administration/private capital services/closely related financial services sector, strong knowledge of Luxembourg fund structures and regulatory landscape, ability to create and work independently, commercially driven, proactive, innovative, solutions-focused, strong interpersonal, influencing, organisation and project management skills; preferably multi-lingual; experience in digital marketing and social media engagement is a plus.
