Description
This exciting role will provide quality assurance and independent oversight on key processes or controls and test process adherence through sample checking key processes, outputs and transactions, conduct investigations, data gathering, analysis and in-depth reporting on key risks and issues to identify root cause and ensure remedial actions are established to mitigate risks, escalate high-risk and significant issues, respond to all types of risk and mitigate, review files and information on potential new clients of all risk ratings, identifying deficiencies and following up on all queries to resolution and ensure that new business reviews are conducted in line with the 'client take on and maintenance manual', validate source of funds/ wealth in line with Compliance and regulatory guidelines, and ensure that relevant business approval is obtained prior to account opening, remain proficient and knowledgeable of best practice and future developments, maintain understanding of policies.
Candidate will have experience in risk, governance and compliance management in the financial services industry with a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and operational risk matters, Diploma in Risk Management; good team player and decision maker who can communicate at all levels, analyse and evaluate.
