Description
Exciting opportunity playing key role in overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable teams across multiple jurisdictions, involving leadership, coaching, and day-to-day management of financial operations, taking lead on managing bank accounts and cash management in line with internal processes and industry regulations, as well as supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes and ensuring team maximises potential and ensuring financial transactions processed accurately and that bank reconciliations completed on time; develop and implement efficient processes and systems for financial operations, enhancing productivity, maintaining control and reducing errors; ensure cash received meets all required policies and is accurately recorded expediently; administer client monies accounts (receipting of incoming funds, processing of outward payments, ensuring relevant due diligence in accordance with internal procedures); obtaining clean audit opinion.
Candidate will desirably have degree and/or professional qualification in finance with proven track record of successfully operating within a partnership culture and/or professional services environment; collaborative team skills with ability to develop effective working relationships; demonstrable experience in managing and developing a team; confident and effective communicator at all levels; high levels of initiative and decision-making and comfortable in results driven environment; personal organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise; relevant working knowledge of financial reporting systems and their application within a large and complex business.
