Description
The primary role is to act as CO, MLCO and MLRO for client fund entities, ensuring they adhere to regulatory codes and legislation, reporting to fund boards of directors on a quarterly basis and providing advisory services on regulatory and compliance matters to boards, liaise with Compliance and Risk teams; manage, coach and train two direct Jersey reports and provide technical support and guidance to Guernsey based Fund Compliance Officer; actively contribute to department team meetings and initiatives and encourage open discussion on forthcoming activities and resourcing requirements; contribute to client presentations and analysis of client tariffs; help with headcount budget reviews; ensure new business priced accurately and existing discrepancies reviewed; guide on regulatory policies and laws; identify, assess and manage regulatory risk; advise clients on best approach with the regulator and co-ordinate communications with JFSC; maintain registers for recording breaches, complaints, gifts and training; take part in special projects.
Candidate will have Key Person experience and proven track record in a financial service managerial role; 5 years compliance experience; computer literacy across a variety of applications; ICA Diploma/equivalent.
