This is a great opportunity for a driven and talented individual to make a real difference as part of a dedicated and professional team. He/she will act as Deputy CO, MLRO and MLCO for managed entities; manage team completion of testing detailed within Compliance Monitoring Plans and assist with testing completion and address points arising; oversee production of quarterly compliance reports; attend board meetings if necessary; stay up to date with requirements of AML/CFT regulations and Handbook; review prospective new business providing guidance for CDD and risk assessments; provide detailed CDD advice to management in line with external and internal guidance/requirements; maintain a commercial approach to CDD; assist with preparation and coordination of Business Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Program; mentor and manage workload of junior staff; manage direct reports performance management and review/set objectives.
Ideally candidate will have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in financial services with detailed understanding of Trust Company and Fund Services Business compliance environment; Table 4 compliance professional qualification/equivalent; proven Management experience; strong understanding of AML legislation and CDD requirements for a financial service business and its clients; profound knowledge of Jersey legislation and a detailed understanding of Fund Service Business, Certified Fund and Trust Company Business Codes of Practice and guidance notes; strong presentation and problem solving skills; team player; ability to mentor, coach and train.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
