Description

The successful candidate will have the joint responsibility for the Schedule 2 compliance regime with responsibility as a primary contact for the administration team for the delivery of AMLSP services to a varied portfolio of clients and related entities, and coordinate with the Risk & Compliance teams for inhouse compliance reporting and other related matters. He/she will liaise with JFSC to register and deregister entitles; take on AML Compliance Officer key person role; manage deliverables and testing process; assess additional training needs; help prepare other regulatory reports and undertake projects; identify process improvements.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience in finance industry/compliance, with a strong academic background. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred but not essential; excellent understanding of Jersey compliance requirements and strong communication and organisation skills; knowledge of Viewpoint and MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus; understand applicable statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements; client-focused and attention to detail; able to work independently, use initiative, and provide training/mentoring essential.
